It’s baaaaaack! It’s that time of year again, and the Ice Cube is returning for another year of ice skating fun in Millennium Square. From Friday 25th January until Sunday 24th February 2013, the popular winter attraction will be serving up the residents and visitors of Leeds a slice of wintry fun.

Also returning will be the Capital FM Snow Slide and other winter themed rides, such as the Glacier Run simulator. Advance tickets for public sessions and snow slide tickets are currently being sold online and via the telephone. People wanting to visit the rink are being encouraged to buy early.

And if you truly suck at ice skating, all is not lost! Now guests can take part in a four-week tuition programme taught by professional skaters. The programme is priced at £58 pp and caters for all types of skaters, from beginner to advanced levels.

I will be visiting the ice rink myself, though I expect to spend more time on my ass than my feet.

Pricing and timetables can be found here:
